I own and race an S2 9.1, and I have a broad base of experience on several race boats including J35, 36.7, and an Open 60.  I have done several offshore deliveries where I have been the captain of the boat including Boston to Baltimore, Maryland - twice (offshore route), and New York to Baltimore (both inside and outside route).   I am a US Sailing Certified Keel Boat Instructor, and I am taking the Safety at Sea Certification this March in Annapolis, Maryland.  I am very easy going, athletic, and experienced at every position.  I am also very willing to participate in a return delivery.

I am a lifelong sailor and have been racing on a Tripp 40  the last 2 yrs as crew trimming main ,running backs  mostly with occasional headsail work and spin trim. Chi-Mac delivery & race both yrs. Previous 3 seasons racing on smaller boats(27-30')with some foredeck work also. First Aid, CPR and plan to have completed SAS prior to race. Will consider either race or delivery or both depending on timing.

I am a 28 yr old former submarine officer with experience primarily in cruising sailing in LI Sound, Maine, Caribbean. Member of winning MBA Cup team in Portofino, Italy, 2007. No ocean racing experience but very eager to change that! Up for return trip as well. Experienced navigator, trained as Navy diver, CPR/first aid. 6'0" 205. Currently a grad student in New Hampshire, moving to BDA this summer.
