2008 Newport Bermuda Race On-Line Registration System

The Newport-Bermuda Race has an on-line entry system to facilitate the entry process for captains and the Race Office. Using the secure on-line registration system is a two step process.

Captains register on-line and receive logins and passwords allowing them to fill out the Application for Entry (AFE) providing qualifications information about the yacht and the crew. The Qualifications Committee reviews this submitted information and either approves the AFE or notifies the captain that additional information is required.

Once approved by the Qualifications Committee, captains and their crew then provide further information about themselves and the yacht. This entire process and all of the required forms are available on the site. This includes the payment of fees and monitoring the status of the entry. The captain and crew each have separate passwords for permission to edit appropriate sections of the registration site.

The system is easy to use and does not require any special computer expertise.
