Prize List & Trophies

  Provisional Trophy List   (5/15/2008)
This is a provisional list of Prizes and Trophies for the 2008 Race.  Detailed award criteria for these and additional prizes are under ongoing review and may be adjusted.  The final prize list is subject to BROC Awards Committee certification prior to the Captains Meeting.

 

Division Trophies

  • St. David’s Lighthouse Division: St. David’s Lighthouse Trophy
  • Gibbs Hill Division: Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse Trophy
  • Cruiser Division: Carleton Mitchell/Finisterre Trophy
  • Double-Handed Division: Phillip S. Weld Prize and Moxie Prizes
  • Open Division (formerly the Demonstration Division): Royal Mail Trophy

Class prizes and medallions

Class prizes and medallions are generally awarded for up to the first four places on corrected time in each class, depending on the number of yachts in the class.
